Hello everyone.

  •

Song of the Month, is a free monthly promotional download tune on Meditera.co.uk

September 2009 brings us Ajuda Gardens (Baglamas Instrumental)

Inspired by the beauty of this majestic botanical garden in Lisbon, here's a little Baglamas instrumental in 9/8 (karsilamas) rhythm.

Past and future gigs

We played a few gigs with Jurand, aka The Yugoslavs, around London.

It was a beautiful experience, meeting many interesting people. But also a learning curve about the songs: some of them just work, some don't.

You can read about the gigs in two blog articles:

Also, I have posted a video on Youtube with one of our songs that is getting the most attention: Without You.
Click here for the video on youtube.

On the 26th of September, Saturday, I play at the Lakeside, RM20 2ZP, start 8pm. If you live nearby, come and listen (map)

Other projects and news

During September I signed a publishing deal with Hook, Line and Sync. It's an Australian publishing house and they took 10 of my Guitar and Tamboura instrumentals to use them for movie synchronizations etc.

Finally, for the Linux Audio geeks, I wrote a few blog-articles about a new distribution called AVLinux 2.0:

And that's all for today, folks.

Stay in good health and high spirits, you will need them as the retail announces the beginning of the Christmas season in a few weeks...
