| Story. I
was asked by a music publisher to create a "cool belly dance"
for some movie. When I finished, it was already too late for
the request in question. Nevertheless, the Cool Belly Dance
was created and it's a sweet little tune.

Tambura playing the main melody. Other
instruments: bass, keyboard (drums, strings, synth).

| Musically,
this instrumental tsifteteli follows the tradition of the old
masters (deksiotechnes) on bouzouki. The main melody is played
in the
Ousak scale (Phrygian mode), which is combined with the
natural Minor and Dorian mode when going upwards.
The synth gives a nice contrast, while the
strings make this Belly Dance a bit more Eastern. |
