Story.
Well, yes, I did it, I admit. I tried to make a Greek song
that will sound like Zorba The Greek from Theodorakis.
And the only possible way to do it was to compose a tune in a
minor key (Zorbas Dance is in G Major).
That way, it gets a slightly Slavic, Russian feel.
And actually I like it. Although the original idea is a bit
naughty, Zorba's Minor Trance stands on its own two feet very
firmly. It's a lovely, almost Gipsy-sounding melody |
