There is in Old
Yugoslavia a song from a singer called Oliver Dragoevic -
Oprosti Mi Pape (Forgive me Daddy). I was always moved,
intrigued by that song. At this age (44) I realised I had to
do my bit of reconciliation with Dad. This song just came one
early morning in my fingers, shaped itself nicely through the
following few days and now is here. Not much more to say,
really.
Musically, this is an interesting combination of Blues and 7/8
(2+2+3) rhythm. and it fits well, to my opinion. It has this
dynamic, lively flow. |
