STARRY SONGS - Album Description

The name of the CD is Pesnite Zvezdeni (Песните Звездени) and is a collection of Macedonian traditional folk songs a few orginial songs in that style.

As the title suggests, it's a collection of dreamy, poetic compositions which can slow you down and fill you with the irresistible "Easy Going" southern feel.

The instrument featured on the CD is Tamboura - very similar to Greek Bouzouki. The Tamboura is an instrument with a lot of Mediterranean sunshine embedded in its sound; you'll be positively surprised by the amount of gentleness this little instrument can generate.

The music on Pesnite Zvezdeni is centuries old and native. Performed and recorded with a lot of attention, it's a pearl in every folk-lover's collection.
