Baba is an electric guitar blues in 7/8 (2+2+3) time-signature. A song that is conversation with my late father Ioannis Mastoridis. With a grammatical error: “I haven’t forgave you” - which was stopping me to release the song all these years. But a quick Google search revealed that quite a few people have used this erroneous phrase, so it received a green light for release. Blues in everything else, the 7/8 time-signature gives it a bit of a strange twist, an unusual rhythmic groove. Written and recorded 2007.
