about

The Rush follows the best traditions of Greek and Balkan music. In a swaying 9/8 time, two Bouzoukia and a Guitar tell a short musical story of someone rushing somewhere. To work? To a dancing club? Or a Taverna, being late for his mates and the 'Tavli' (backgammon)?

Whatever the reason, the title is only an excuse to write down a sympathetic, joyful Greek Bouzouki instrumental tune.
